OPERAÇÃO: Uma amostra circular montada num suporte de amostras e submetida a uma carga definida, é friccionada contra um meio abrasivo (tecido padrão) num movimento de translação, traçando uma figura de Lissajous, com suporte de amostras
sendo, além disso, rotacionado livremente em volta de seu próprio eixo perpendicular ao plano das amostras. a avaliação da resistência à abrasão de tecidos têxteis é determinada desde o intervalo de inspeção até o ponto de quebra das amostras.
